Biography

Jessica Southwell graduated from the University of Central Florida with degrees in film and dance. Jessica grew up training and performing in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, gymnastics, aerial silks, and ballroom. She now lives in Los Angeles, CA specializing in both vintage and contemporary dance styles while training and teaching internationally. Most recently Jessica can be seen in music videos and performances with Scott Bradlee's Post Modern Jukebox. In 2016 Jessica performed as a lead dancer in SWING! the Broadway Musical with Norwegian Cruise Lines. She has taught master classes for UCLA, Savannah College of Art and Design, Stetson University, University of Alabama, Florida State University, University of Central Florida, and Eastern Florida State College. Jessica taught dance, gymnastics, and aerial silks for six years as the Assistant Director of Brevard Arts Academy. She has also taught regularly for Starz Dance Galaxy, East Coast gymnastics, Sarah's School of Dance, and University Performing Arts Center in Central Florida. From 2010-2015 Jessica performed professionally in shows and parades at Walt Disney World, and danced for Universal from 2013-2014. Jessica has choreographed and produced numerous films, music videos, and theatre programs across the US. Jessica is passionate about sharing stories and connecting with others through her choreography and instruction.
